Preventing Sexual Harassment Training – California
Format #3: Online Self-Study
Why use AHI’s online self-study California sexual harassment training course to satisfy AB 1825?
Online self-study offers the lowest cost per participant of any of our training methods. Also, if you find that it's difficult to get all of your supervisors to schedule two consecutive hours of their time to take either an in-house or live webinar training class, you can use the online self-study format to solve that problem. The course is broken into individual modules so that your busy supervisors don't need to take the entire course at one sitting or even the same location.
AHI’s online self-study course meets the interactive requirements under the regulations issued by the FEHC covering sexual harassment training. The regulations state that such training “shall include questions that assess learning, skill-building activities that assess the supervisor’s application and understanding of content learned, and numerous hypothetical scenarios about harassment…”
Our course meets these requirements by:
- Using brief quizzes at the end of each module to make sure key points are understood
- Having supervisors analyze five workplace scenarios that are based on actual sexual harassment cases to determine if illegal sexual harassment took place
- Giving supervisors a 15 question final exam that gives them instant feedback on their score as well as which questions they got wrong so they can learn from their mistakes
- Making supervisors pretend they are on a jury to analyze two case studies to see if an illegal hostile environment really exists
- Requiring supervisors to interact with the course material by clicking on bullets, hovering over pictures, and other interactive techniques to keep them engaged while learning the material
- Allowing supervisors to click on a button where they can ask a question on any of the material and receive a receive a reply from an AHI subject matter expert within two business days as required by the FEHC regulations covering e-learning training
In addition our LMS system makes it easy for your organization to implement the course with these features:
Supervisors can resume taking the course at any point they exited the course
Supervisors can view where they are within in any module using the “menu” button
Supervisors will see how many modules they have completed each time they log in to the LMS
AHI will provide reports to HR showing the completion status of each supervisor as well as if they passed the final exam in order for HR to track the progress of each supervisor
Supervisors will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course
AHI will save you time by inputting each supervisor into the LMS system and send emails with instructions on taking the course to each supervisor
