Why use AHI’s online self-study course?
If you find that it's difficult to get all of your supervisors to take time out of their busy schdule for either an in-house or live webinar training class, you can use the online self-study format to solve that problem. The course is broken into individual modules so that your busy supervisors don't need to take the entire course in one sitting.
AHI offers two different ways for your supervisors to take the course via self-study. The first method is to take the course using the Internet using the learning management system (LMS) described below. The second method is to use our CD-based version of the course and have your supervisors pass the CD along after completing the training.
After taking the course, participants will be able to:
List the components of ongoing performance management.
Conduct effective appraisals that increase employee motivation, performance, and productivity, while reducing potential exposure to litigation.
Establish clear expectations for their employees.
Avoid common mistakes when conducting annual performance appraisals.
Properly document their employees' performance to use as defense against claims of illegal discrimination.
In addition, our LMS makes it easy for your organization to implement the course with these features:
- Supervisors can resume taking the course at the same point they exited the course.
- Supervisors can view where they are within any module using the “menu” button.
- Supervisors will see how many modules they have completed each time they log into the LMS.
- AHI will provide reports to HR showing the completion status of each supervisor as well as whether they passed the final exam in order for HR to track the progress of each supervisor.
- Supervisors will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course.
- AHI will save you time by inputting each supervisor into the LMS system and sending e-mails with instructions on taking the course to each supervisor.
