Sexual Harassment Training That Will Eliminate Workplace Harassment

One-On-One Training

Provide the supervisors in your organization with sexual harassment training you can trust, from the Alexander Hamilton Institute, highly-respected employment law experts since 1984.

Sexual harassment training of all your supervisors is the best form of lawsuit prevention insurance that you can buy.

It’s more cost-effective to conduct sexual harassment training now than to pay the cost of having to settle claims or defend against lawsuits later.   And, if an employee files a complaint against a supervisor with the EEOC, failing to have properly trained that supervisor will weaken your defense resulting in either a larger settlement or even punitive damages should the case go to court.

AHI has been recognized nationwide as a leading publisher on sexual harassment and employment law for over 25 years.  We've taken that extensive knowledge and used it to create a well-respected sexual harassment training program.  Since 2004, AHI has been hired by over 100 organizations to conduct sexual harassment training for over 4,000 supervisors and employees.

Why Choose AHI?

1. AHI offers sexual harassment training methods that can meet any training budget.

We know scheduling training is tough. We wanted to make it easier, so we offer multiple delivery methods : in-house, live webinars, and self-study. Use one or use a combination. We will work with you to determine which training method is the best for your organization and your budget.

2. Our training course was developed by the experts at AHI.

Our flagship newsletter, Manager's Legal Bulletin, has been training supervisors on how to avoid sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits since 1986.  In 2004, we used that knowledge to create an interactive live training course for supervisors filled with real-life scenarios so that supervisors learn how they can prevent sexual harassment in their workplace.  In addition, our sexual harassment training program was adapted to meet the strict content training requirements under California's AB 1825 sexual harassment training law.

Many of our customers, such as Allstate Insurance, have been using our program since 2005 to train their supervisors.  References are available upon request.

3.  AHI is dedicated to providing top-notch customer service.

From start to finish, AHI has a dedicated team to provide customer service that meets the specific needs of every organization with which we partner.  Our customer service professionals provide seamless scheduling and understand the necessity of making changes to class schedules with short notice due to business requirements.  They will help relieve you of many of the administrative tasks when setting up training so you can concentrate on the more important aspects of your job.

Here is what Patty Schneider from Reliant Behavioral Health said about working with our team:  "I would like to add that my personal experience working with you was excellent from the response time to the coordination and planning that you provided.  As the need arises, I will definitely use your services in the future."

4.  AHI offers two different versions of the course – one for supervisors and one for employees.

In addition to training your supervisors, it is recommended that the rest of your workforce receive sexual harassment training.  To make the training more effective, the course has been customized to make it more relevant to situations that non-supervisory employees face as well and emphasizes their role in preventing sexual harassment from occurring in your workplace.

5. Our training course has been approved by the law firm of Dowling, Aaron & Keeler.

The firm is comprised of top lawyers in various disciplines, including real estate law, litigation, estate planning, healthcare law, general business law, employment law, intellectual property, and public agency law.

6. AHI’s national course meets the same high standards set by California sexual harassment training regulations.

California law mandates the strictest sexual harassment training in the country. Our national sexual harassment training course meets or exceeds these tough standards.

7. Using our course will help you meet EEOC guidelines on preventing sexual harassment.

EEOC sexual harassment guidelines state that "an employer's responsibility to exercise reasonable care to prevent and correct harassment is not limited to implementing an anti-harassment policy and complaint procedure. As the Supreme Court stated,  ' the employer has a greater opportunity to guard against misconduct by supervisors than by common workers; employers have greater opportunity and incentive to screen them, train them, and monitor their performance. ' "

Failing to effectively train all of your employees (especially your supervisors) can leave your organization open to charges of “reckless indifference” resulting in multi-million-dollar punitive damages awards.

Testimonials

"Elle Peji did a fantastic job during the two days she was here presenting the Harassment Prevention training. She is extremely knowledgeable of the subject and how to judge the type of group she is dealing with. I sat through four sessions with her and each one was different and perfect for the audience. I would highly recommend her and Alexander Hamilton to my colleagues if asked for Harassment Training Experts."

"It was actually very good, and the trainer who led the session did a great job. As far as the scheduling of it, yes it worked out fine.  It's nice that they offer the session more than one time, so we can rotate all of us taking the course, without having to leave the production floor unsupervised."
